STATE OF SAN ANDREAS – ROLEPLAY RULES

🔹 1. General Roleplay Conduct

• You must remain in character (IC) at all times during roleplay.
• Use /ooc or designated channels for out-of-character communication.
• Respect all players and staff at all times.
• Do not argue in RP — handle issues through staff.

🔹 2. FearRP

• You must value your life at all times.
• If a weapon is pointed at you, you must comply realistically.
• No acting fearless in life-threatening situations.

🔹 3. New Life Rule (NLR)

• If you are killed, you forget the events leading up to your death.
• You may not return to the same scene for 15 minutes.
• No revenge or returning with prior knowledge.

🔹 4. Random Deathmatch (RDM)

• Killing or harming someone without valid roleplay reason is prohibited.

🔹 5. Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM)

• Using a vehicle as a weapon without proper RP is prohibited.

🔹 6. Metagaming

• Using out-of-character information in roleplay is strictly forbidden.

Example: Using Discord or streams to gain RP advantage.

🔹 7. Powergaming

• Performing unrealistic actions or forcing RP on others is not allowed.
• You cannot force outcomes that give you an unfair advantage.

🔹 8. FailRP

• Any unrealistic or poor-quality roleplay is considered FailRP.
• Example: Pulling weapons out of nowhere, ignoring injuries.

🔹 9. Combat Logging

• Leaving the server to avoid RP situations is prohibited.

🔹 10. Cop Baiting

• Intentionally provoking law enforcement without RP reason is not allowed.

🔹 11. Criminal Roleplay Rules

• You must have a valid RP reason for crimes.
• No excessive or unrealistic crime sprees.
• Value your life during pursuits and situations.

🔹 12. Hostage Rules

• Hostages must be treated realistically.
• No killing hostages without proper RP escalation.
• You must give law enforcement reasonable demands.

🔹 13. Law Enforcement Rules

• Must follow proper use of force.
• No abusing power or breaking RP for advantage.
• Prioritize realistic policing and communication.

🔹 14. EMS / Fire Roleplay

• Must act professionally at all scenes.
• Cannot refuse treatment without RP reason.
• Prioritize saving lives and realistic response.

🔹 15. Scene Priority

• Respect ongoing RP scenes.
• Do not interrupt or insert yourself without reason.

🔹 16. Safe Zones

• No violent RP in designated safe zones (if applicable).
• Examples: Spawn areas, hospitals (unless RP allows).

🔹 17. Vehicle & Driving RP

• Drive realistically unless in an active RP situation.
• No unrealistic stunts or constant reckless driving.

🔹 18. Communication Rules

• No mic spam, soundboards, or excessive noise.
• Clear communication is required during RP.

🔹 19. Respect & Toxicity

• No harassment, discrimination, or toxicity.
• Keep the server welcoming and professional.

🔹 20. Staff Authority

• Staff decisions are final.

• If you disagree, use proper channels to appeal.
